I've been investing in property since I was 18, and it's completely changed the direction of my life.

As a journalist by trade, I began my career as a financial reporter and newsreader. But after being made redundant, I made a decision that would shape my future. Rather than relying on a single income, I started building an asset base through property investment.

More than 20 years later, that decision has given me the financial security, opportunities and lifestyle I enjoy today.

Along the way, I've raised over £10 million in private finance, built my own portfolio, won HMO Landlord of the Year, developed 20 award-recognised Net Zero apartments, and continue to invest whilst running my own lettings agency and other property businesses.

What I've learned over the years is that successful property investing isn't about finding the perfect deal. It's about making informed decisions, avoiding expensive mistakes and taking a long-term view. That's the knowledge I'm passionate about sharing, so you can build your own asset base with confidence.

Alongside my investing, I'm also a qualified Civil & Commercial Mediator specialising in property disputes. After seeing first-hand how disagreements can derail projects, relationships and profits, I wanted to help investors resolve conflict more quickly and move forward with confidence. While property investment is now my main focus, those skills have given me a unique perspective on how to spot problems early and avoid them altogether.
